This holistic approach considers mental, emotional, physical, and social wellness. She is EMDR trained and take a somatic approach that emphasizes the ways the nervous system stores unconscious trauma and is also a deep reservoir of subconscious wisdom.

Ghabhain is an award-winning journalist and writer with 13 years of experience, and a Jungian scholar applying archetypal theories to mythology and exploring the intersections of somatic memory, myth, and ecology. She was a 2025 teaching fellow for ASU’s Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference, lecturing on Jungian symbolism and archetypes in creative writing. As a journalist, she covered a variety of beats including politics, the courts, business, and education.

When not supporting therapy clients in re-storying their life narratives or researching mythology, she enjoys reading fiction, spending time in nature with friends, playing the bodhrán, writing fiction and poetry, and painting with acrylics.
